Leonardo was first released in 2001 to celebrate the birth of Mr. Theodoros Fikardos’ youngest son. Produced only on a great vintage and from selected vineyards.

Taste notes: Ruby red, full body, high acidity. Aromas and flavors: Blackberry, prune, cherry jam, green mind, dark chocolate, clove and vanilla.

Food pairing: Beef stew, smoked pull pork, T-bone steak and of course the traditional Cypriot dish Kleftiko.

Vintage: 2017 (Previous declared vintages 2016, 2012, 2010, 2007, 2002, 2001)

Alcohol: 14%

Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon (100%) Single vineyard. 

Vinification: Fermentation at 22-24 degrees Celsius. Malolactic fermentation. Three days cold maceration.

Aging: 15 months in new and old oak barrels.

Longevity: Twenty years from the vintage.
