These are some of our wine recommendations:

Amalthia 2015: A dry white wine made from the indigenous grape variety Xinisteri (86%) and the French grape variety Semillon (14%). Bright lemon in color, with green apple, pear and peach aromas. The perfect wine to start your Christmas dinner with. Its crisp and refreshing acidity helps it pair very well with green salads and seafood dishes.

 

Xilogefiro Chardonnay 2014: Dry white wine made from the beautiful Chardonnay. This limited edition chardonnay is matured in new oak barrels for 3 months. Oak contact gives it wonderful vanilla and toast aromas. This hint of smokiness expands our food pairing possibilities. Some dishes that pair great with Xilogefiro are Shrimp and Scallops in Garlic Cream Sauce, Roasted Brined Turkey or something simple as charcoal grilled chicken.

 

Valentina 2016: A wonderful medium sweet rose wine made from the French grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon and the Spanish grape variety Mataro/Mourvert. Its signature strawberry, plum, cherry and pomegranate flavors have made it the most desired rose of Cyprus. You can enjoy Valentina by itself or with sweet and spicy food. Dishes pairing great with Valentina are Thai Sweet Chili Chicken, Spicy King Prawns and Spinach Pomegranate Salad.

 

Fikardos Maratheftiko 2014: Produced from the king of Cypriot grapes, Maratheftiko. The winemaking process starts with 3 days of cool maceration which enhances the fruit character of our wine. After a slow, three week fermentation our Maratheftiko is then aged in oak barrels for 10 months. The resulting wine has intense blackberry, dark cherry and blackcurrant flavors followed by sweet spice notes. Fikardos Maratheftiko accompanies red meat dishes very well, this includes Cypriot dishes such as Kleftiko and Souvla but also grilled T-bone steak.
